October Book Club Pick

For the month of October we'll be reading a piece of fiction by Anne Tyler entitled "Digging to America." Now, I personally don't know much about Anne Tyler or her latest book, but here's what Library Journal had to say about it: “The author’s 17th novel exemplifies her skill at depicting seemingly quiet and unremarkable lives with sympathy and humor . . . A touching, well-crafted tale of friendship, families, and what it means to be an American.” Sound enticing enough for you? Well, just read the book like the rest of us and get on over here Wednesday the 14th of October at 6:30pm for our next meeting. Sounds like a plan, don't it?
